Alright, i'm officially addicted to books... i've been buying books like a mad woman and reading them like a snail :/
i'm enjoying all the books i'm buying but reading them pretty slow... so since i'm reading Bill Bryson's "A Simple History of Nearly Everything", i need your help to pick out my next read, you have 26 books to choose from :p

1- How come girls hate it when someone else is wearing the same oufit yet go thru plastic surgery to look exactly like someone else?
A: well, the same outfit could look better on somebody else and u'd look like a fat cow in comparison, but plastic surgery would be different with different face features, so it's not exactly the same thing, and it would be done to rid someone of something that would stay on her face/body forever. (nose, fat, chin, and breasts)

2- Who influenced you the most and in what way?
A: well, my parents and my friends have a bigger influence on me than TV or a celebrity or any other relative. and in a way that makes me cautious of different kinds of people and different situations. Life in general.

3- Would you rather be famous and loved or successful?
A: that's a hard question... i want to be all three... if i'm famous and loved, i guess i'd have to be successful at something... but it should be for something that ppl would actually really love me for... but if i'm just successful, it could be because i stepped on somebody on my way up and ppl woudn't really love me for that lol... so i'd prefer the loved and succesful part :p

4- Rather be under-dressed or over-dressed to an occasion/event?
A: i don't mind either... but over-dressed would be best because it can be down-played (less glitter, letting down my hair)

5- Mention one thing about you that no one knows.
A: something that's not a secret but nobody knows? hmm... i hate cooking, but if i had to do it, i don't mind...

A: because doctors and scientists are busy making pills for Courtney Love... y'see, anti-depressant addicts pay more than poor kids in Africa and injured people in war-zones!! KO7! uhm... *gets off her soap-box*

5. Would you marry Purgy if he asked you?!
A: and become Queen Purgatoria of the Penguin Kingdom? hmm.... tempting :p but my cows would freeze to death and i'm not a fan of sushi... never tried it, really...

A: yea, i love fashion, but simplicity is everything, so crazy fashion fads that don't fit me but everybody copies isn't my thing. (mini skirts over pants and Live Strong bands anyone?)

A: no, cos it's wrong and it wouldn't work out in a society like this anyway...

A: No, depends on the level of acquaintance and how much they know about u and if u actually like them :p
I have a lot of best friends, and there are other friends that don’t know me as much as my best friends, and there are class friends, there are social friends, family friends which know I’m bint flan and flana, but don’t KNOW me.

2-how do you keep good relationships with non-immediate family? (cousines, uncles, etc)
A: well, constant meeting up and treating each other like friends rather than relatives is a great way to maintain a relationship and to keep it good.

3-WHERE ARE THE COOL HANGOUTS AT KU!?!
A: Cafeterias in 3loom colleges, and the squares in general. (khaz and gossip central, if that's your type of thing)

A: It's just a shift in interests, i'm concentrating on my art work more than my blog, that's all. and not to mention how the summer course is keeping me busy.

A: Some wear clothes like that just to be comfortable, they just don’t want the attention that comes with it, some are just hoes who tease u for no reason.

The Glorified 80's

(WARNING! LONG POST AHEAD! ... but mostly pics :p)

Let's walk down memory lane, shall we? there have been alot of shows that we've been affected by... shows that "my generation" would remember and know pretty well...
what makes me post something like this? well, i want to let some of "our generation's" heritage touch some of the babies... uhm... i mean, younger kids, know some of the things we might talk about...
example of what happened: my bro was trying to open a can of pepsi with his teeth, so I said: “wow, Jazora? hahahaha”, and started laughing at the way he looked and then remembered Jazora...

so what does my brother do? He stares at me like I just told him a joke in Martian... and he says: “ what the hell is Jazora? new type of car?”

now, My Generation, doesn’t that just piss u off? It’s like they threw our whole childhood away!!

So to fight the ignorance, here are some of the old shows, so when u see me laughing my head off at fishnet stockings, u’ll know what I’m thinking...

The first cartoon we talked about, Jazora (a.k.a. Gazula the Amicable Monster)

Jazora is a monster that hates needles but loves to eat metal... or basically anything :D

Ninja (a.k.a. Ninja Boy):

He’s a ninja (but not the cool deadly kind that ZeeCu has on his blog) and he’s wearing fishnet stockings on his arms and chest!!! waaaaaaaaaaahahahaha :p that always crack me up... hehehehe

Captain Majed (a.k.a. Captain Tsubasa):

The King of All Things Soccer... sorta goofy and over-the-top with the moves during the games, y’know, like the jumping up 100 metres in the air to kick a ball and staying up there for a few minutes, just to be able to have a long conversation with the captain of the opposing team, and each character expressing just how hard he’ll kick the other one’s ass...
Very inspiring :p

Lady Lady (a.k.a. Hello, Lady Lynn):

A very very sweet character, but u can’t help but notice that she loves those two pigtails to much... even when u watch the last few episodes, SHE STILL HAS PIGTAILS! And then there’s that love triangle with her and the blonde guy and the brunette dude and the horses... bladee blee bla bla bla... (aham shay Na6iq Bil Lugha El 3arabiya)

Ri7lat 3anaba (a.k.a. The Quest)

I really really wanted those two kids (pink-wearing blonde girl and blue-wearing brunette boy) to fall in love and leave those dimwits they call friends... the tiny ninja kid was cute, green-aired princess 3anaba was a dimwit, the blondie who loved 3anaba was too romantic and dumn for his own good... the only cool thing about the whole show is the tea pot that talks and takes them to the past or future... I learn the word “ekhras” from him :D (which means shut up lol)

Those were my fave cartoons when I was a kid :D
Of course, there was also, Sally, Heidi, and Sa7eb El Thil El 6aweel, and many many others... I just don’t have their pictures :p

Weird Ideas and Extras and Tinkerbell

i just had a weird idea and i have to get it out there before i forget it... it's just weird, so if u don't like weirdness, don't read...

i was watching Frasier on Channel 4, and i noticed that while the stars of the show were talking in the coffee house, there were a couple of extras posing as a couple and they were talking... "what were they saying?" i was thinking, so i thought why not get a person who reads lips and we know what they're saying :p

see, told u weird idea... u can stop reading now if u don't like it...

so yea, maybe they're talking about their lives as wannabe hollywood stars, or maybe the scene is real and those people have to sign papers promising not to ruin the scene for the show, or maybe they're making fun of the stars... hmm.. i want to be an extra in a movie...

i bet i can steal the show, y'know :p make a huge scene or start "accidentally" tripping on stuff oo kil sa3a they say "CUUUUUTT!!!" until the male star of the movie (hopefully Jim Caviezel) sees that i'm one hot mama, and then he demands they fire the female star of the movie (hopefully Penelope Cruz... I hate her guts :p) and they cast me... and then i win an oscar for that role... it's just so simple :D

anyways, now that i have spurred my web of dreams i shall sleep on it like a fairy wearing a bikini-plus-a-chefoon-mini-skirt-thing-like-Tinkerbell- outfit...

The Weird Creatures That Swim In My Room

Well, turns out the fishies that have a tiger-like pattern are very evil... I was happy that they were, but then it turned out they were being evil (as in biting and pulling the fins) to the cute little gold fish that were sharing the tank with them... so I had to separate them and the evil ones are now with my bro... so now I have the red-head mommy and the three little gold fishies...

I think these fishies are meant to be with me, cos they’re all weird...

One of them is really into doing back-strokes these days... she’s still breathing and I can see it moving, but when I try to tickle her and push her down back into the water with the tips of my fingers, she swims down for a few seconds, as if to say to me: “see, I’m still alive! See me swimmin’! tra tra tra traaa laaaa!” and when she makes sure I’ve seen her swim around properly IN the water, he then swims back up to the surface... It’s just so weird :/ she can breath, but she’s upside down. She can swim with her friends and mommy, but prefers to hide behind the filter tube. While still breathing and staring at me.. upside down, that is...

I know I’m weird and everything I have should be weird like me... but my fish are just as weird as I am? What a weird coincidence...

The mom has this love affair with the marbles I put on the base of the tank, she keeps kissing them and rubbing up against them...

And the two other gold fish are ALMOST normal, but they fight a lot and seem to be blind... sorta... they keep slamming into the glass and into their mom... the only one who’s quiet and has nothing to do with the others is the one behind the filter tube...

So their names are now: Mommy (yea, very original, I know), Slammer and Whammer (since that’s all they do to each other, the glass surrounding them, and their mom), and the Surfacer.
I’ll leave the naming of the three evul ones to my bro. but I will suggest the names: Satan, Lucifer, and Triple Six :p

*sighs* that seems to be the only exciting thing happening today...

Oh yea, and on Thursday, there’s gonna be a PAAAR-TAAAYYY! Woohoo :p

Update

I know I haven’t been around the blog-o-sphere and I know at least SOME of you miss me (humor me and say yes lol)... so what have I been up to ever since I finished finals? Well, other than cringing while waiting for my grades to show up, I’ve been doing very little things compared to the studying and how busy I was during school days, but to me, they’re great accomplishments... I finished some stuff I had left unfinished since last summer, specifically hobbies I got bored of too early... here’s one thing I finished:

Other things I finished with are some of my art works, but that’s all on my art page, which I’ve posted about a few times here to sorta advertise it around.
I’m really into photography these days (wink wink to Ture Faith ;)) and it’s getting to be very interesting just how many angles and ways there are, and then there’s the light and how it reflects on ur subject and all that... it’s fun, because now when I go out, I start noticing scenes from a photographer’s point of view, like “hmmm... how would that cute little girl look like if she wore a brighter colored dress and had balloons attached to strings in her hands and running through a green feild?” or “*wolf whistle*... I’d love to take pics of that hunk topless in a very dark room with just a tiny glimmer of light reflecting on those muscles... rawr” uhm... *cough* sorry... that was NOT what I meant... uhm.. uhh... what?.. uhm... moving on!
So yea, photography is nice :p

And... what else?... oh yea, I BOUGHT FISHAT! (look, it’s either fish-at or simach-es) They’re so cute even though they just swim around staring at each other :p
The mommy is white with a red hair-do and the kids are all orange... and then there’s the kids next door who have some sorta grey tiger pattern on them... they all get along, thank God... (I’ll try to take a pic of them later)

And my latest weird hobby is to make over files! I like taking my old files and make them over. I use pictures and designs and stick them randomly all over a file as a cover and it looks as good as new :D and I get to look unique having the only file that looks funky and cool :p

So that’s about it... nothing too special happening... been busy with all the mentioned above and other domestic things like taking care of 3amer (mommy-duty calls lol) and some other stuff to get both my room (new pillows for the sofas and light covers over them to color coordinate *ugh*) and me into shape (eating better, more exercise *ewww* even though it’s paying off) and ready for summer... so I hope to be able to get online more during the summer since I have the labs are there for me as soon as I finish classes, so when I get home, I can pay more attention to the studying part...

But for now, I shall leave you all weeping and awaiting my return :p
