My Fon Cam is my Weapon

The Top 6 Products in Kuwait

I went to Ramez a few days ago and found some things that would get your eyebrows up to your hairline... now imagine that you’re bald and your eyebrows are up to your hairline... WAHAHAA... ok, I just had a moment of evulness there...

What was I saying? Oh yea, here are some of the funny things I found there... the little comments are just there cos I felt like saying something about them.. but I’ll let the brand speak for itself.... have fun:

(Swak-F)
High-tech teeth-cleaning technique, ppl... with free toothbrush to go...

(Fiea Sta)
Nope, not fiesta... it’s Fiea........Sta. yea.

(Garlic Hair Products)
I don’t get it... garlic? Hair mask? Is this a Casanova cream or an anti-Dracula cream? Even if garlic is good for your hair, why would u want it to smell like garlic? I smelt it there... there was a TRIAL jar of it. The scent was...... no comment.

(Nescafé)
A coffee cup set called Nescafé... with a pic of kitkat on the box... and yes, I think a lot of ppl have adventures in coffee in their free time...

(Specialty Coffee Paper Cups)
Don’t these paper cups remind u of a famous coffee house? The same shade of green and circle in the middle with the brand name?

(Mugs)
Ok, 4 mugs for tea and coffee, especially designed for my vivid lief... yea, I’m very encouraged to buy this!

Me: Tagged... Again

i've been tagged by Jackie... i'm flattered? i think? lol

here we go:

1. What does 'love' mean to you?

It's not being with someone you can live with. It's being with someone you can't live without.

2. What does 'marriage' mean to you?

something that makes two people equal. it shouldn't be taken so seriously that each person feels stressed and boxed in, and it shouldn't be taken so lightly that cheating would be forgettable.

3. Do you believe in 'love at first sight?

Lust, yes. Love, no.

4. How many children would you like?

minimum 2, maximum 4... even though i love kids, but i wouldnt really like the pain that comes with child birth :p

5. If given the opportunity, what is that one song you would sing for me on wedding day?

I don't sing. and the bride doesn't sing for her husband. he sings for me. it's his choice anyway.

6. What is your favorite holiday destination?

the U.S... or locked in a library with food.

7. What are three qualities you would look for in man?

- Cute
- Funny
- Clean

8. What are the three qualities and three bad habits that you have?

Qualities :

Bad Habits :

* 3aneeda.
* Lazy.
* Hyper when i'm not supposed to be.

9. Did you have any previous relationships?

yes.

10. Where do you see yourself in 10 years time?

hopefully, a carreer and husband. i don't know about kids.

Me: Tagged

I have been tagged by Purgatory, and the question of the day is:

What 5 things do you miss about your childhood?

(note: my answers as a little bit similar to Purgs, except the time zones and incidents are different)

1) Growing up in the 90's - my fam was different from all the other fams i knew. we read Majed magazines and acted out what the Detectives did. i got to beat one of my brothers if he acted the role of criminal.

2) Having dinner at Malek El 3a9eer: we'd order shawarma la7am and chicken and 3a9eer orange and cocktail, and then we go to el ba7ar in the car. I'd brag about it the next day at school.

3) Sleep overs at grandmother's and uncle's house.

4) Summer holidays with the plastic foldable pool. natresa water and we wear our fancy shiny swimwear min Eygpt.

5) borrowing my mom's camcorder and making videos of our own. *remembers the video to Backstreet Boys' EVERYBOOODYYY YEEAAA ROCK YOUR BOODYYY YEAAA*

hope y'all are happy :p

The Boy Bands Post

Whenever the 1990's are mentioned, the first thing that pops into my mind is the music video for the Backstreet Boys' "We Got It Goin' On", and it's a very funny image of 5 dudes wearing leather jackets over jeans jackets. Another video that pops into mind is the "Tearin' Up My Heart" video mal 'NSYNC. 5 guys who look very much gay running around taking pictures of each other... and then JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE'S ARMPITS showing while he's lying in bed!!! that was hilarious...

so why do i like boy bands? i have no idea whasoever. i just like them. they're usually hot (kevin and howie nowadays), and their music is nice. it isn't very annoying, and it isn't very loud and it isn't very girly.... no, wait, it is :p

the funny thing is that i sometimes even defend them. for instance, the backstreet boys' latest album Never Gone is amazing. i heard all the songs and almost memorized them all. one day, Linda, during the morning show, played their song "Incomplete" and then said "critics say Incomplete is the best song on the album" and she sounded as if she didn't even like Incomplete. i felt like kicking her ass, because critics are just cynical 50 year old virgin men living in their parents garage, and 45 year old ugly maids that are all jealous becuase these hot guys who have talent and great songs actually got laid and have wives (Kevin is married, and Brian is married and has a cute little son)... so yea, i felt some serious hatred towards Linda, who doesn't know what she's talking about, cos THE FANS are the ones who buy the albums and judge whether they like it or not. and me as a fan, i know i like what i heard. if Linda doesn't know what she's talking about, or if she only has something NEGATIVE to say, i suggest she desn't say it...

The BackSeat Boys... yum :p

i know so many useless information about boy bands, it's funny. but i don't know any shoe sizes...

example: did u know that BSB got a record deal after their manager held her fon towards the screaming fans during one of their shows?

anyways, let's get to the point:

so which bands do i love or at least like? well, get ready for this:
* Backstreet Boys ( have all the albums)
* 'NSYNC (same thing as BSB, but i liked them together better than when Justin went solo)
* Blue (they're ok)
* B2K (beats. very nice.)
* 5ive (they were fun and wild)
* Maroon 5 (GUITAAARS!!! AAHH!! now these, i love them just as much as BSB)

and some others, but NOT Take That... i hated them... and i still hate Robbie Williams.

and the only girl band i liked was the Spice Girls cos they wore colorful outfits lol

it's like a way of mine to get over my teenage years... it was one of the weirdest and funniest and funnest mara7il of my life... i got to goof around and really act like the 13,14, 15, and 16 year old i was... and yes, i still suffer from friends comments about me being lame and kiddy (yes, u, Jackie), but i just shut them up by saying that if they don't like it, they shouldn't listen to it. it's not like i'm playing their songs out loud, and it's not like i actually SING their songs... i hate my singing voice anyway...

'NSNYC = BSB's rivals, but i loved them both anyway

so yes, this is something weird that i like and i would really like people to respect my personal taste and stop calling me lame (yes, u, Jackie) cos some of the things that they like might be lame to me.

and that was all i had to say.

so ur just gonna have to wait for my explanation of how and why i love boy bands... *sighs*

The Backstreet Boys

Being Tagged Is Cool

Since i've been tagged, here are my answers:

Number Of Books I Own: i haven't counted them... i'll count and i'll tell u but i think approximately in the 50s and 60s... i have more in boxes but i don't think my book shelves will ever forgive me :p

Last Book I Read: Simply Divine by Wendy Holden, pretty funny and witty stuff...

Five Books That Mean Alot To Me: (not in a specific order)
1* Flowers in the Attic by Virginia Andrews, it's the first major novel i've ever read, i read it in High School for a book-report paper, but then i kept on reading other books by Virginia Andrews, she's amazing...

2* The Client by John Grisham, it's the only book i resisted seeing the movie about it, i read it first and then knew what was gonna happen in the movie :D

3* Heaven by Virginia Andrews, another huge novel by Virgina, AMAZING! (u should read all her books like i did, ppl!)

4* The Nanny by Melissa Nathan, i love the main character Jo, she's great and how she deals with the kids is also great... and her love life ain't that bad either :p
the book has a great story with different points of view and the characters are so unique... very well written :D

5* The Da Vinci Code: ZeeCu told me about it first and i thought hmm, sounds cool... and then the hype about it got louder and i had to know what was going on, so i borrowed the book from Nutta and don't regret it :D amzingly written, simply but sophisticated, and the story-line keeps u hooked... its pace is slower than Angels and Demons, but i liked this story-line more, and the ending is great, but i'm not telling u :p

The book I Am Reading Since Long But Could Not Finish: The Shining by Stephen King... i don't know why, i just got bored and it didn't seem that interesting... and i still haven't watched the movie lol

i wanna tag Purgs and Symbols but Jackie's already done that, so i tag Uzf, TaTa, and ZeeCu :D
and if y'all aren't readers, talk about movies, as in:

number of movies i own, last movie i saw, five movies that mean alot to me, and the movie i tried watching but couldn't finish...

have fun ;D
